Okay so I wrote in to INTERVENTION! I am keeping my finger crossed I know it's a long shot but, hey...it could happen right?!?!

Anyway here is what I wrote...

My sister Nicole is suffering from a serious drug and alcohol problem. She is a mother of two young boys, who are no longer in her care. Her children were taken by thier father and have since been relocated to Mexico. We have been unable to see them since they have left the country. She has lost everything. She is at her very worst. Our mother as well as our grandmother both passed away from cirrhosis of the liver, due to their own alcoholism. I fear that if my sister does not get the help she needs she will soon follow. I do not know what to do. My resources are limited, and I feel that this may very well be my last avenue. I love my sister with all my heart and there are so many other people who love her and want to see her get the help she needs as well. She has two boys who need to grow up with a mom. I don't want them to feel how I feel. I don't want them to wonder why their mother didn't love them enough to get off drugs and be a part of their lives. I don't really know what else to write. If you need any more information or have any questions I will gladly answer them. I will be praying that she will be considered to participate. Thank you.

Anyways...I'm feeling a little sick tonight so that's it...

As you may or may not know, I have an older sister who has a serious drug and alcohol problem. To make a super long story short, she is way out of control and getting sick from the alcohol. I don't know what to do. I would love to try to get her on that show "intervention" as I feel it's her only hope! I know it's a far cry to get on there but, maybe if I can get some help on what to write. Maybe I might have a chance!?!? I love my sister with all my heart, she's the only one I have. My mother already died from alcoholism as well as my grandmother. I don't want to lose my sister too!!! If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them.

this is my poem
I wrote it, it's mine
It's about life and love and days past by

the things I remember make me want to cry
everyday of my life is filled with memories and times...
close to my heart, cluttering my mind

I just can't let go, of the hurt and the pain
the feelings of sadness flowing through my veins

a love that is gone, a friend who is no more
its only a part of my life and I must close that door...

but I just can't do it, it's made me, me...
It's who I've become,
It's who I'll always be...

the girl who loved you, the girl who cared,
the girl who can't let go...of something that was never even there

you changed my life, you darkened my soul
you replaced my heart, with a deep deep hole

you taught me a lesson, I needed to learn
if you play with fire, you will get burned

I've learned a lot about life, and I know it's not fair
you can't make someone love you, you can't even make them care

what I thought was true love, was just a lie...
tricked and fooled, I wanted to die

when I think of you I cant even breathe
I needed you, how could you leave?

You broke me down, to a place I never want to be
I lost myself...I forgot how to be me

it's not you I miss, It's the thought of you...
someone I wanted you to be
someone you're not, someone like me...

relationships ruined, broken and gone
unspoken words... I must move on...

I'll take you with me, to the end of my time.
